The fifth episode of Let’s Talk Competition took place on 30 January 2024 and focused on how State aid is being impacted by the revival of industrial policy goals.
Three renowned experts participated in the discussion:
- Mr. Ben Smulders, DG Competition Deputy Director-General for State aid policy;
- Mrs. Stéphanie Yon-Courtin, Member of the European Parliament and rapporteur of the Competition policy report 2023;
- Mrs. Adina Claici, Managing Director at Berkeley Research Group.
Mr. Nicholas Hirst, MLex chief correspondent for EU competition policy, moderated the debate.
