The Commission reflects on how competition policy can contribute to the European Green Deal. The first step has been collecting the views, suggestions and concerns of all stakeholders including companies, social partners, governments, public administrations, competition authorities and the civil society.
This broad debate feeds into our policy work in the three main areas of competition policy: antitrust, merger control, and State aid. A Competition Policy Brief titled "Competition Policy in Support of Europe’s Green Ambition" issued on 10 September, 2021 offers an overview.

- Competition policy in support of the Green Deal (10 September 2021)
- Shaping the future: The role of State aid and competition rules for ensuring a sustainable green and digital recovery (16 November, 2020)
- A sustainable future for European industry (5 October, 2020)
- Green Deal and competition policy (22 September, 2020)
