DG COMP

Today DG COMP unveils COMP Cases, our revamped case search engine.

Our current search engine has served us well for many years, but with the passage of time it was grown old and its functionalities became outdated and will be phased-out in the following weeks.

The new COMP Cases will offer a better user experience by providing a fresh, modern, and intuitive user interface. Among the improvements and new features that COMP Cases provides, we like to highlight the following:

  • Fully revamped, modern user-friendly interface;
  • Multi-platform accessibility (pc, tablet, smartphone);
  • Full-text search (incl. search within documents);
  • Search using features like ‘stemming’;
  • Search results ordered based on relevance;
  • Print and export search results;
  • Improved ‘latest updates’-pages.

Later this year, COMP Cases will be further extended to provide information also on Digital Markets Act and Foreign Subsidies. Moreover, and in line with the EC Data Strategy, access to COMP public data will be enhanced further early 2024,  as COMP Cases will publish all relevant datasets as open data and via the European Data Portal data.europa.eu.

We hope you will appreciate COMP Cases. If you have any comments or would like to share your feedback to us, please do not hesitate to COMP-WEBatec [dot] europa [dot] eu (subject: My%20feedback%20on%20COMP%20Cases) (write to us).
